Friday is still NOT vacation!

A number of students told me today that they will be absent tomorrow.
Tomorrow is a regular school day.
If a student misses the scheduled assessments, he or she must take them as soon as possible after school resumes in January or receive a "0" score.
I am all in favor of vacations but this one doesn't start until Monday!
